Headed to Paris? Baguettes, boulevards and beautiful sights await! Whether you’re a first-timer dreaming of the Louvre or a seasoned explorer craving catacombs and hidden gems, The Paris Pass makes it all a breeze.

Forget juggling tickets, this all-in-one digital pass lets you access over  45 top attractions, tours and experiences across the city. Oui, it’s as good as it sounds.

Let’s take a stroll through how The Paris Pass works, what’s included, and how to get the best value from your time in Paris. Allons-y!

How does The Paris Pass work?

Simply put, it’s your sightseeing cheat code. The Paris Pass is a digital multi-attraction pass that gives you entry to a wide range of city highlights.

Choose how many consecutive days you want the pass to last – 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 – and then visit as many included attractions as you like within that time. If you opt for the Paris Pass Plus, you’ll also get a Paris Museum Pass and be able to visit even more top Paris Museums!

It includes must-see landmarks, museums, river cruises, tours and even a 1-day hop-on hop-off bus ticket to help you get your bearings in style.

Buying and activating your pass

The paris pass app homescreen
  1. Buy online – grab your pass on the official Paris Pass site or the Go City app for the best deal and to access full customer support.

  1. Download the Go City app – your pass lives here! Use the link from your confirmation email to add it to the app, view attractions and find any need-to-know info.

  1. Activate it when you’re ready – your pass only starts ticking once it’s scanned at your first attraction. So you can buy now, plan later.

Using your pass on the day

Using your Paris Pass is très simple. Just show your phone at the entrance of each attraction, and they’ll scan it for entry. Voilà!

Top tip: save your favorite attractions in the app and check for any required bookings before you go. You don’t want to miss that macaron-making class because it filled up!

What’s included on The Paris Pass?

  • Art & culture – step inside the world’s most-visited museum, The Louvre, where masterpieces like the Mona Lisa await, then head to the Musée d’Orsay for even more awe-inspiring artworks.

  • Tours, activities & more – your pass also unlocks a huge variety of walking tours, bike rides and even photo experiences – perfect for adding a dash of fun and variety to your Paris itinerary.

With so much included, The Paris Pass makes it easy to discover Paris from every angle – and save big while you do it.

Plan ahead to maximize your time

paris trip planner

Paris is packed with incredible sights, but with Metro changes, river crossings and so much to see, it’s easy to lose precious hours crisscrossing the city. Group attractions by area – for example, spend one day around the Eiffel Tower and Champs-Élysées, another exploring the Louvre and Île de la Cité, or head out to Versailles for a full-day adventure. This way, you’ll spend more time enjoying Paris and less time in transit.

Not a natural planner? No problem, we get it. Our free trip planning tool does the hard work for you. Just choose the attractions you want to see and how many days you have, and it’ll create a custom itinerary, map out the best routes, and store all your attraction details in one place. Handy, right?

Is The Paris Pass worth it?

Absolutely – if you want to see more for less. With top attractions easily costing €20–€50 a go, visiting even two or three per day can add up quickly. The Paris Pass makes it simple to bundle all those visits into one value-packed purchase.

For example, in just one day you could enjoy:

  • Eiffel Tower Guided Climb (€39)
  • Big Bus Hop-on Hop-off 1-Day Tour (€49)
  • Wine Tasting at Les Caves du Louvre (€36)

That’s €124 worth of tickets in a single day, while a 1-day Paris Pass costs €89 — so you’re saving €35, which is about 28%. *

What’s the main advantage of The Paris Pass®?

Apart from savings (which we obviously love), it’s all about ease and flexibility.

With The Paris Pass, you:

  • Keep everything in one app – no paper tickets, no fuss
  • Access curated tours and unique experiences

  • Explore at your own pace

  • Discover places you wouldn’t have thought to visit otherwise

Basically, it’s your Paris trip… just smoother and more fun.

Is there a limit on The Paris Pass?

There’s no limit to how many attractions you can visit in a day – but there is a maximum value cap based on your pass duration. For example, the 3-day adult Paris Pass has a usage limit of around €460+.

Don’t panic though – you’d have to be very ambitious to hit that.

Tips & tricks to make the most of your Paris Pass
