How does The Paris Pass® work?

The Paris Pass® offers you admission to dozens of top attractions in the city.

There are two elements to your pass: an 'All-Inclusive Pass', and the 'Paris Museum Pass'.

The All-Inclusive Pass can be synced instantly with the Go City app. You can then download your Paris Museum Pass through our booking portal ahead of your trip. Check your confirmation email for full information on how to redeem this element of your pass. 

Each pass has its own line-up of tickets to Paris attractions, so please check which one you need to show for entry. You'll find these details under each attraction listing in 'know before you go'.

The Paris Pass® does not include Paris Metro tickets, so you will need to purchase these separately.

The Paris Pass® will be activated when you visit your first attraction.

Once your passes are activated, they will be valid to use for consecutive days of your pass duration. So, if you activated a 3-day pass on a Tuesday, you would have the whole of Tuesday, plus Wednesday and Thursday to use it. We recommend activating your pass early on in the day to make the best use of your time in Paris. 

Many attractions will allow you to walk in on the day, but some need to be booked in advance. Be sure to check our reservations page before you travel to see which Paris attractions require a booking. You can also find the booking details on each attraction's page under 'Know before you go'.

Remember, your pass only activates when you visit your first attraction, so making reservations won't activate your pass.

Our adult (18+) and child passes (ages 2-17) offer fantastic value on all Paris attractions. If your children are aged between 2-17, they are still able to enter some national museums for free! Therefore, before purchasing a Paris Pass for teenage travelers, we advise you to check entry prices with attractions directly and consider purchasing individual tickets instead.
