Late nights at Notre Dame Cathedral

You’re in Paris this summer and you’re looking for something special to do after hours. Well, you’re in luck; visitors to Paris can enjoy a unique experience of Notre Dame Cathedral over the next few months. You can discover this Gothic landmark through a different perspective at their Late Night Shows. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday the famous Cathedral on the Île de la Cité puts on a display like no other to let visitors experience the medieval cathedral like you’ve never seen it before. Throw the guidebook away, this is something else. Built in the 14th century, Notre Dame is one of the most famous cathedrals in the world and is an iconic silhouette on Paris’ skyline. Complete with stained glass windows, 10 huge bells and two impressive towers it’s one of Paris’ most popular attractions and a must-see when you’re in the city. These (free!) Late Night Shows offer visitors a unique insights into the grand cathedral where you can experience Notre Dame through ethereal effects, sounds, lights and theatrical displays. You can also enjoy the film Notre-Dame de Paris, living cathedral which looks at the history of the Gothic building and its worldwide reputation and importance. When? July-August: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9.30pm September: Every Saturday and Sunday in September at 9.15pm (no show on 20th and 27th) October: Every Saturday and Sunday in at 9.15pm Entry is free - donations are welcome.
